U.S. Coast Guard Assists 30 Boat Passengers "In Distress" in Ventura County
The United States Coast Guard Los Angeles tweeted it has dispatched multiple rescue assets to assist 30 passengers in distress on a boat near Santa Cruz Island in Ventura County on Monday morning.
Santa Cruz Island is part of the Channel Islands National Park, just north of Los Angeles and off the coast of Ventura.
