NYPD Wrangles Another Farm Animal for 3rd Time in a Week

It’s happened again -- for the third time in less than a week.

The NYPD wrangled yet another farm animal in New York City, this time it was a sheep in Brooklyn.

The sheep was found tied to a tree in Coney Island Creek Park along Bayview Avenue in Sea Gate at around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, officials said.

Officers untied the animal, led it into a trailer and took it to the New York City Animal Care Center.

Video from the scene shows the sheep, dirty, being led away by officers.

It’s not yet clear why the sheep was in the wooded area or who may have left it there.

The sheep isn’t the first unusual incident involving animals in the Big Apple.
