Woman Shot in Car After Fight Breaks Out: NYPD, Video

A woman was shot in the back while she was sitting inside her car in the Bronx Monday evening, police say.

Officers responded to Monticello and Strange in Edenwald around 6:15 p.m. for a report of a woman shot inside a black BMW, according to the NYPD.

The victim reported being hit in the back. She was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where she's in stable condition. 

Surveillance video from the scene shows a car pull up behind another on the side of the street, where an apparent fight breaks out. Someone pulls out a gun and fires, and the second car flees the scene.
