Storm to Bring Light Snow, Rain to Tri-State Wednesday
Storm Team 4 is tracking a storm that could bring light snow to the tri-state Wednesday afternoon.
The storm approaching from the west will start as snow in the afternoon before quickly changing over to ice and rain during the evening, potentially making for a slick commute for some, Storm Team 4 says.
The city and coastal areas will see an inch or less of the white stuff. It's possible areas north and west of the city will get 1 to 3 inches.
The pattern follows other storms this season of snow changing over to rain; the temperatures just haven't gotten cold enough to favor a big snowstorm track, Storm Team 4 says.
In the meantime, it will be cold and blustery with wind chills in the single digits and teens overnight, and then Tuesday will be chilly with highs rising only into the 30s despite sunshine.
