Wet and Windy: Tri-State Sees Gusty, Moderate Rain Wednesday

It's a rainy and gloomy week in the tri-state, and the weather could create some headache for commuters.

Another storm system developing off the coast is bringing wet weather back Wednesday. As a Mid-Atlantic low pressure system deepens offshore, northeast winds strengthen in the afternoon with gusts of 25-30 mph throughout the region, according to Storm Team 4.

Winds become problematic throughout the day and rain chances increase through late Wednesday morning and into the evening with moderate rain possible.

Intermittent rain and wind gusts are expected on Thursday and Friday as well. Temperatures hover slightly below average highs, mainly in the upper 50s, Storm Team 4 says.
