Police Officer Shot in New Jersey, Sources Say
A police officer has been shot in New Jersey, law enforcement sources tell News 4.
The Irvington officer was shot around 11:30 a.m. Thursday outside a home on Myrtle Avenue. A suspect was seen in a backyard in the area, the sources said.
No other details were immediately available.
Multiple agencies are responding to the scene.
