NYPD Says to Avoid Lower Manhattan Subway Station
The NYPD says to avoid a lower Manhattan subway station as it investigates a report of a suspicious package.
A report of the package at the Fulton Street station in the area of Fulton and William streets came in around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. The MTA tweeted there were service changes and delays in Nos. 2 and 3 train service as the NYPD investigated.
Video posted to the Citizen app showed a heavy police response in the area.
