100 People Arrested in ICE Protest on West Side Highway

About 100 protesters were arrested Saturday in a large demonstration against immigration enforcement, police said. 

Those arrested were charged with disorderly conduct, the NYPD said. They were blocking traffic by sitting on the West Side Highway. 

Video of the protests shows the demonstrators chanting "ICE raids have got to go."

The West Side Highway was shut down temporarily between 22nd Street and 26th Street in Chelsea.
