Major Power Issue Halting Trains, in, Out of NY Penn Station
A major power issue is forcing service suspensions in and out of New York Penn Station, with NJ Transit saying it's diverting some trains to Hoboken.
"NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, and Midtown Direct rail service is suspended in both directions due to Amtrak overhead wire problems. Midtown Direct service is being diverted to Hoboken," NJ Transit tweeted.
Amtrak also tweeted about a disruption.
"Trains traveling between New York (NYP) and North Phiadelphia (PHN) are now stopped due to overhead power issues. We will update as more information becomes available," they wrote.
This is a developing story.
