Baby's Body Found in Queens Park Early Tuesday

The remains of an infant were found Tuesday morning in Crocheron Park in the Bayside section of Queens, police confirmed.

Police received the report around 7:40 a.m. The baby's age, gender and circumstances of the death were not immediately clear. 

The investigation is ongoing.
