NYPD Investigates How Suspect Was Shot in Harlem: Sources

Police are investigating how a suspect was shot in Harlem, law enforcement sources say. 

Police were called to the area of West 114th Street for a report of a person with a gun, sources said. 

When officers arrived, they found the suspect shot and injured inside the building. It's not clear how he was shot. 

No officer has been injured. 

The NYPD says the area of West 114th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. and Frederick Douglass Boulevard is closed as they investigate.
