Man Charged With Attack on Homeless Group in Brooklyn: NYPD
A suspect was arrested Saturday in an attack on a group of homeless men who were beaten and robbed while they slept in front of a Brooklyn building, police said.
Jesus Guadalupe, 29, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with robbery, gang assault, assault criminal possession of stolen property and harassment, the NYPD said.
Investigators are still looking for four other suspects.
The group approached four men sitting and sleeping outside a building on 60th Street in Borough Park on Feb. 23, police said. When the victims asked for money, the attackers kicked, punched and threw objects at them.
Three of the victims were taken to hospitals for treatment, including one who was in critical condition with head trauma, police said.
