Woman Pulled From Icy Hudson River Near Poughkeepsie: Coast Guard

A woman was pulled from the icy water of the Hudson River near Poughkeepsie on Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Coast Guard said. 

The woman was unresponsive when she was found and brought EMS on a pier, but her condition was unknown, the Coast Guard said. 

A tugboat found the woman after the Coast Guard alerted mariners in the area. 

Coast Guard members on the Penobscot Bay cutter deployed an ice response team and pulled her from the water, officials said. 

Poughkeepsie police were investigating.
