Trains Delayed Up to 60 Minutes In, Out of Penn Station: NJT

Trains traveling into and out of Penn Station are operating on delays of up to 60 minutes due to Amtrak-related overhead wire issues, NJ Transit says.

The agency initially said service into and out of the station was suspended.

NJ Transit bus and private carries will accept rail tickets and passes, according to the agency. PATH will accept NJ Transit rail tickets and passes at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street.

The agency announced the service suspension around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday. It wasn't immediately clear when trains would resume regular service.
