Subway Rider Trips Onto Tracks, Fatally Hit by Train: NYPD

A subway rider died after falling onto the tracks and getting hit by a train in Manhattan Wednesday, police say.

Authorities say the death at West 155th Street on the D line appears to have been accidental, and the victim may have tripped onto the tracks as the train arrived into the station.
