Multi-Alarm Fire Breaks Out in UWS Building, 1 Hurt: FDNY

One person was injured in a three-alarm fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon in an Upper West Side building, fire officials say.

According to the FDNY, the fire broke out on the third floor of a seven-story building on 101st Street at around 12:41 p.m.

One serious, but non-life threatening injury was reported, according to fire officials.

Thirty-three units and 138 firefighters are on scene combating the blaze.
