A man thought to be sleeping under a blanket on a Brooklyn roof had actually been fatally shot in the head, police said.

Officers got a 911 call reporting a man sleeping on the roof of a building on Lexington Avenue, near Marcy Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, the NYPD said.

When officers arrived at the building, they found the man unconscious and unresponsive under the blanket, police said.

The man, identified by police as Timmie Glover, 42, of Freeport, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The Medical Examiner determined the man had a gunshot wound to the back of his head, the NYPD said.

No one has been arrested in connection with Glover’s death, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
