Driver Sought in Hell's Kitchen Hit-and-Run: NYPD
Police are searching for the driver in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian in Hell's Kitchen, leaving him in critical condition at a hospital.
The 28-year-old pedestrian was crossing 47th Street at 10th Avenue at around midnight when he was hit by a dark-colored vehicle, police said.
He was taken to the hospital with fractures to his leg and shoulder, and a cut to the head.
Surveillance video shows the man trying to dart through the crosswalk against flowing traffic when the car hits him, sending him flying into the air and crashing back down on the ground.
