70-Year-Old Woman Struck by Bus in Manhattan

A 70-year-old woman was struck by a bus in Manhattan Monday morning, authorities say.

The incident occurred around 9:34 a.m. on 2nd Avenue and 36th Street, FDNY says.

FDNY is on scene, which is a few blocks away from the FDR Drive. 

According to police, the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with serious injuries, including a broken pelvis.

Citizen App video taken of the accident shows a group of firefighters surrounding the front end of a bus. Ambulances were also on scene.
