1 Dead in Queens Rollover, Woman Charged After Hitting Wreck

A speeding muscle car rolled over on the Belt Parkway in Queens early Sunday, killing a passenger and critically injuring the driver, the NYPD said.

Then, police say, a drunk driver hit the wreck. She suffered minor injuries and was charged with driving while intoxicated.

In the initial crash, a speeding 2018 Dodge Challenger struck a barrier and overturned near exit 19 in Ozone Park, the NYPD said. 

Christon Harry, 24, of Queens, was thrown from the car and died at the scene, police said. 

The 25-year-old driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, but was later stable, police said.
